Come join us Friday evening at ZEN for light hors d’oeuvres after your “Dine Around” and party the night away with us as The Blue Dogs jam into the night! A selection of fine microbrews will be provided by Greenville’s hometown brewery, Thomas Creek Brewery, founded by Bill Davis, FAIA. Zen is an easy walk from all “Dine Around” locations as well as the Host Hotels and is served by the free Downtown trolley service. So come join your friends for free live music, free food, and free drinks. It’s going to be great fun and a great party the way only AIA can do it!

SAR 09 : Cool Architecture | Hot Jazz

Award-winning jazz vocalist Nnenna Freelon, the recipient of six Grammy Award nominations, the Billie Holliday Award and more, celebrates with us to close out the evening. The legendary Aretha Franklin comments “If you’re looking for great entertainment and very hip music, check out Nnenna Freelon!” The South Atlantic Region’s claim to fame is that Ms. Freelon is married to our very own – Raleigh architect, Phil Freelon. We welcome her to the Peace Center stage as we celebrate a successful conference.
