AIA Greenville Supports HOG Day 2009

On Saturday, May 2, 2009, AIA Greenville participated in Hands On Greenville day by volunteering time at the Frazee Dream Center at the coner of Lloyd and Pickney Streets. The Frazee Dream Center is a free after school and summer program for under resourced children in the downtown Greenville area. The program offers assistance and guidance to children ages 6-13 in the areas of academics, character development, sportsmanship and emotional wellness.
Hands On Greenville Day has three goals:
- To provide 12,000 hours of community service in a single day
- To raise funds to help Hands On Greenville continue its year-round mission of creating meaningful volunteer opportunities
- To promote the spirit of volunteerism and demonstrate the power of community service.
AIA Greenville is proud to be a 2009 HOG Day sponsor. Thank you to all of the AIA Greenville members for volunteering their time for this worthwhile endeavor.
