2011 AIA Greenville Design Awards
AIA Greenville, a chapter of The American Institute of Architects, has recognized outstanding works of architecture through its biannual Design Awards Program. The purpose of the program is to celebrate achievements in design excellence by Greenville architects; to generate greater public interest in architecture; and to honor the architects, clients and consultants who work together to create and enhance our built environment.
Submissions of all project types and scales are encouraged: large and small, built and un-built, interior and exterior, new construction and preservation. It is the Chapter’s intent to recognize work that exhibits exceptional design quality and is worthy of merit. Projects are judged in competition with each other, but rather by measuring the architect’s performance against each project’s potential. Thus, projects of modest program or budget can receive an award.
Important Dates:
October 22, 2011 – Entry Forms and Fees Due
Octoberr 31, 2011 – Completed Entry Submissions Due
December 2, 2011 – Design Awards Event, ZEN, Greenville, SC
